Effective October 9, 2026. SeasonHue is published by Archie Design App LLC.
Summary
- Selfies you choose for the color pick, try-on or drape test are drawn in your browser and never uploaded to us or anyone else.
- We do not detect, measure or store faces. The color pick only averages the colors of the few pixels you tap.
- Your quiz result (three numbers, your answers, your top seasons and up to four picked colors) is saved in your own browser so the paid report can be built later. You can delete it at any time.
Photos
When you choose a photo, it is decoded and painted onto a canvas inside the page. Colors you tap are averaged on your device and turned into hex codes. The photo is never sent over the network, and closing or reloading the page discards it.
What is stored in your browser
After you finish the quiz or drape test, the page saves your result in local storage under the key seasonHue.result.v1. It does not include the photo. It stays until you clear this site’s data in your browser settings or take the quiz again. We cannot read it.
Payments
The optional personal color report is paid through Stripe Checkout, a page hosted by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details and email address to process the payment and send a receipt, under the Stripe Privacy Policy. We receive the payment status, amount and the email address you give Stripe, and use them only to confirm access, handle refunds and meet tax and accounting obligations. We never receive full card numbers or your quiz answers. Before checkout you confirm that you are 18 or older, or that a parent or guardian has agreed.
Website delivery
Cloudflare hosts this website and processes request information such as IP address, browser type, page requested and time, for delivery, security and operational logs. See the Cloudflare privacy policy. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies or cross-site tracking. We do not run any other analytics service on this site.
Advertising
Season palette pages, the four season family pages and guides may show Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and request information to deliver and measure ads; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services and My Ad Center. The quiz, the drape test, the report and these policy pages do not load advertising code, and no photo, color or answer is ever passed to an ad request.
Children
SeasonHue is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
